Based in Austria, the KSR Group is a large corporation that owns a myriad of motorcycle and scooter marques including Brixton, Italjet, CFMOTO, and Lambretta. And, despite already having a slew of irons in the fire, the Austrian outfit has now announced the launch of its newest brand, Motron Motorcycles.
To kick things off, Motron has introduced an inaugural 12 models, including a pair of 50cc and 125cc petrol-powered scooters, two electric scooters, a Grom-style mini naked electric, a Honda Cub-themed EV, an eighth-liter gas-engined bobber, a 400cc cafe-inspired modern retro, and Motron’s flagship offering — and unquestionably the most noteworthy of the dozen — the X-NORD 125. Powered by a liquid-cooled 124cc single that puts down 12.5hp and 7ft-lbs of torque, offers a 60mph top speed, and is married to a six-speed gearbox, the X-NORD is an eighth-liter, naked, adventure-themed bike that boasts a 385lb curb weight and a 3.7-gallon tank that affords a range of over 300 miles. The X-NORD also gets LED lighting throughout, an inverted front-end, a tall windscreen, a suite of crash bars all as standard fare, and is also available in a Touring-spec with a top case and hard luggage for an extra $375. Available now, the Motron X-NORD 125 starts at approximately $3,600 but the rest of the brand’s range starts at as little as $2,293.
